Now, we know that most of you are skeptics, and you are probably asking how it is possible to lose weight without starvation, without a horrible eating plan or high doses of hormones?
We have done research since 1989 and discovered how you can lose weight while enjoying what you eat and eating enough of it with the help of our highly successful program.
Not convinced? Let me tell you a little bit about what we have learned about healthy eating...
What is ‘the right stuff’?
You might have heard many buzz words going around…’Banting’, ‘low-carb’, ‘high protein’, etc.
You are probably also unsure about which way is the correct way. We know that we were. Until we delved a little deeper and did our own research over the past 22 years. We discovered that most of these diets have a common foundation:
- Low carbs
- Moderate protein
- Adequate fat
What we should focus on is not counting calories, but managing your intake of carbohydrates.
Many eating plans advocate that you must eat 50% Calories, 30% Protein and 20% Fat. This is simply not true.
If we go back to our roots and our ancestors, it is clear that they lived from animal products, fruit, vegetables and nuts/seeds. Modern knowledge of working on farms taught us to be dependent on carbohydrates. Our bodies simply don’t need a lot of carbohydrates. In fact, many of us are ‘allergic’ to carbohydrates.
Without knowing it you could be poisoning yourself with something that your body has developed an intolerance towards. The very obvious symptoms are:
- Weight gain
- A bloated feeling
We need to train our bodies to burn fat for energy instead of carbohydrates – and this is completely possible with a process called Ketosis.
Ketosis is the process where your body burns excess fat for energy. As simple as that. Initially you will have to cut carbohydrates out of your diet, so that your body can enter the state of ketosis. But after a specific period of time, you can start to gradually reintroduce carbs to your lifestyle to see what your personal threshold is. What is important is to eat the correct type of carbohydrate in the correct quantity.
Let me be perfectly clear about one thing, there is no quick fix for obesity.
Crash diets often yield quick results – but the weight lost is gained back (if not more) within a month after stopping a program.
Let’s be honest, it is quite impossible to count calories, weigh portions or avoid specific foods forever, so it is no wonder that quick fixes don’t produce long term results. One also cannot deny the value of exercise to help boost your metabolism.
Exercise can be light, moderate or intense. If you are currently not an active person, we recommend:
As long as you exercise at least 3 times a week, even if it is in short bursts – you are already getting closer to your goal weight than you think. Remember not to over-train your body, you need to take baby steps and work from there.
As you progress you will notice that you are getting stronger and can push yourself a little harder. Even if you start with 5 minutes, in no time you will be able to handle 10 minutes. Then 15 minutes. You get the idea?
What if we told you that quick fix programs, going hungry and completely avoiding carbohydrates is actually bad for your metabolism in the long run? Would you still do it?
It is surprising how little the real reason for obesity is tackled. Obesity does not come from eating fat or red meat. Obesity comes from refined sugars, flour, bread and potato based products.
This along with disorders that develop because of unhealthy eating or a genetic predisposition towards specific disorders. You need to train your body to gradually bring back carbs into your diet. It is very impractical to expect that you will never eat carbs again.
This is where our way of eating is different, we don’t cut carbs out of your life, we control the type and the amount that you can eat before weight gain starts. Because you are allowed to eat as much as you like from specific food groups, we have removed hunger from the equation and addressed the metabolic problem that causes obesity. It is very maintainable!

What can I expect after starting a low carb, moderate protein eating plan?
Imagine the feeling of achievement when you see results, when others see results in your physical appearance and energy levels.
